Really? Is it just me or is the critic's opinions on this really wrong? I can sort of see were they are coming from but is it one of the most over-looked films of its type? I never really liked Jaws i can admit that. Ennio Morricone score is one of the most wonderful things and soundtracks i have heard in a while.
*Forbidden world ----79%---
Haha holy shit this was a trip, It was playing at my locale cinema for a day only, and there was quite the crowed getting in to see it. Alien is good but pretty slow but Roger Corman's Forbidden world is really only a more dirty version of it with a ton of gore, sex and violence. Hell still worth the yen i payed!
*The Crater Lake Monster ---65%---
Hmm a take on the Loch Ness monster legend with some very impressive stop motion animation for the early David W. Allen. But it's not as bad as what i have been told by has it's flaws... Not really sure if it is worth seeing, But the effects are grand for it's low budget.
*Rango ---90%---
I have wanted to see Rango for quite a while but it stopped playing at my Cinema that and i was away for the time it was showing. But a take on westerns cinema and i the kinds of films i like has my vote and rating... So much better then i thought it was going to be and you should see it if you get the chance.
That's it for my week... I will hopefully exspand soon this is just the start. Do forgive this poor layout.
Rango was very good, glad you enjoyed it as well!
ReplyDeleteThe others I haven't seen, they look fun but not really the kind of stuff I usually watch...
